What is a Team Beachbody Coach anyway?

A Team Beachbody Coach is a person that joins Team Beachbody as a Coach.  They are signing up to promote Beachbody Products and possibly recruit others to become Coaches as well.  The Business Model is a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) format.

By buying into the Team Beachbody Coaching program, you can promote Team Beachbody Products and Services and earn a commission.

Team Beachbody Coaches are encouraged to initially promote to their circle of family and friends.  Team Beachbody Coaches are encouraged to inspire others to live healthy and fit lives which of course is a very positive thing.

It is not a fun prospect to try to sell your family and friends something (or anyone for that matter) but it might make it a more interesting prospect to “inspire” them by example.  When they see the amazing healthy and fit lifestyle that you are living, they may want in on it as well.  That ,of course, is just my opinion but it does make sense, doesn’t it?

Beachbody has an array of products to help people get fit and healthy.  A Team Beachbody Coach promotes these Beachbody Products and in turn, earns a commission on the Sales.

What are the Beachbody Products to Promote?  beachbody on demand main image

  • Challenge Packs
  • Fitness Programs
  • Nutrition Programs
  • Shakeology
  • Nutrition Supplements

Beachbody offers a huge array of Products from each of these categories.

A Team Beachbody Coach can also recruit others to become a Team Beachbody Coach also.  In turn, they will earn commissions from the Team that they form and the Sales that are made by the Team.

What Does a Team Beachbody Coach Do?

So, in essence, a Team Beachbody Coach does multiple things:

  • Uses Beachbody Products
  • Promotes Beachbody Products to others (earns a Commission)
  • Inspires and recruits others to become Team Beachbody Coaches (earns a Commission from the Team they form and from that Team’s Sales)

My Final Thoughts on Team Beachbody  My Final Thoughts on being a Team Beachbody Coach

Beachbody does offer a huge array of Products within the Health and Fitness Niche.

I do not promote nor do I encourage anyone to get involved in any type of Multi-Level Marketing Plan.  MLM’s always come with a lot of hype surrounding them.  I believe that it is possible to make “some” money from them but it is highly unlikely that you will make a full-time income from this.

The average lifespan of a coach is 3 months.

Team Beachbody is a pyramid setup.  An article in the Philadelphia Inquirer stated that coaches earned an average of $2600 per year not counting expenses.  More than half of the coaches did not earn anything.

These statistics are not promising.  But, if you are a super go-getter, perhaps you can be the one to defy the odds.  I am a complete and utter optimist so you never know…  you just never know.

I think the commission structures are confusing once you get past the first layer of commissions.  But, I find all MLM’s to be confusing.  Perhaps this is by design.

Although I am into Health and Fitness, I personally would not sign up for this.  I do not like promoting to family and friends and I am an introvert personality (more of a nerd at heart) and I do not like sales.

Beachbody Products do look good and I am certain that if you do them, you will get results.  As for the Team Beachbody Program, you have all of the information now and it is your choice.

Before I wrap up this article, I would like to give you a little sneak peek into the way that I make money online…

How I Make Money Online from Home

I have been studying Affiliate marketing since 2015.  I now own multiple websites and I make money online from home.  I take all of my Affiliate Marketing Training through a company named Wealthy Affiliate.  Wealthy Affiliate has been teaching people how to make money online through Affiliate Marketing for over 12 years.

I highly recommend this program.  You can learn to build your own profit-ready websites.  This is a legitimate way to make money online and if you are determined with a lot of tenacity, you will create a passive income for yourself.  And, with a lot of devotion, you could even create a full-time income online.

We are offering a Free Starter Account so you can give it a try.  You will also gain access to video task by task style training.  You will even get 2 free websites with your Free Starter Account.  This is how I got started!

Click the banner below with my picture to get your Free Starter Account.

There is NO Credit Card required.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.  🙂

  1. Thank you very much for your nice input, Thou this is the first time am getting to know about team beach body but I don’t trust anything that has to do with multi level marketing, it has always been an overhyped system on the basis of making people lose money and time. From your review I don’t think I will advice anyone to venture into this. I hope I don’t sound too harsh.

    • Charles,

I could not agree with you more.

I do not recommend MLMs.  It could potentially take a lot of time that might be more useful doing something else.

If a person is passionate about these Health and Fitness products, they potentially could make money.  The study showed that half of the Coaches are not making money.  Perhaps they are not putting enough effort into it.

I believe it is important to fins something that you are passionate about.  Then, the money will follow…

  2. Wow, I love this article. I am seriously considering becoming a Beach Body Coach now. Seeing all of the benefits you get are just outstanding. I have always loved the Beach Body brand, but I never knew you could become a coach. This article was super informative, thanks for the read!

    • If you are highly interested in Health and Fitness, then, this could be a way to make extra money.  The initial investment is low which I like.

I typically do not recommend MLMs but this one does not cost much upfront.  If you are very social and like being around like-minded people, it might be a good way to meet some new friends.

As far as the money-making opportunity, I think you will need to be really into it to make a career of it.

      Lots of love!

  3. Team beach body coach is actually a nice initiative with a very bad business model. Getting healthy and living healthy and well is awesome and it does not take much to convince people to buying into health and wellness products  but then, the MLM business model makes it hard to really make money because one needs to not just sell but to recruit too. I am very bad with mlm platforms. The ones I have tried to, I lost my money woefully do, I’d not be joining the team beachbody coach. Thanks

    • Mattias,

      I do agree with you.

A lot of people have lost money with MLMs.  It is very sad.

I do not like sales or recruiting either.  It is certainly not my thing.

I do love sitting behind the computer building websites though and monetizing them.  That is my passion.  I am thankful to have found mine!

Thank you so much for your comment!!

  4. I love your honest review! This platform was one of the worst MLM companies I’ve ever worked for. Apart from the fact that it’s an MLM platform, they are really behind the times when it comes to just about everything. They came out with Beachbody on Demand which to me, they were way late to the game on that. Who uses DVD players anymore?? The workouts are OK but the truth is they won’t get you to where you want to be when it comes to building muscle and also losing weight. They offer false hopes and false promises when it comes to weight loss.

It’s high time I get started with wealthy affiliate, I’ve heard a lot about the platform.

    • Jordan,

Thank you so much for your feedback!

It is good to know that you have actually worked for Team Beachbody and had the same experience.

People wanting to lose weight and to make money are in a vulnerable state and these types of opportunities look appealing to them.

I agree with you that training and making money with Wealthy Affiliate is the way to go.  For my Yoga and working out, I prefer to do my own work out to my own music anyway.  🙂

  5. Great review Alisha!

$2600 a year is indeed disturbing, that won’t put food on anyone’s table! With all these hype they put in, MLM isn’t as great as anyone hoped though, as they take advantage of people with skills which is very sad to see. I’ve seen similar companies like Team Beach Body such as Melaleuca and doTERRA who both have their members earning less than $2,000 yearly too and it’s very heartbreaking to see.

Great to see there are good samaritans like you who expose the real truth to help more people avoid these programs, keep up the good work!

    • Thank you so much for your comment!  I am glad that you enjoyed my article!

You are so right!  2k does not go very far for a yearly income.  Even for a supplemental income, it is not much.

MLMs always seem to have a hype, seminars and a movement of people gathering together all excited about it.  I have no desire to join in this fanfare, I just want to make money online.

Below is the best way that I have found to do so.

  6. Thank you, great article! I am also into health and fitness, but I would not want to have to pressure my family and friends into buying these kinds of products. I don’t think they would appreciate it either. Not all my family and friends are as interested in health and fitness as me. So there would only be some people I know who would be interested in this. That’s interesting that they give the option for how to make $12,000 a week, I wonder if anyone actually does that. That would be a lot of money!

I agree with you about preferring to make a website online and make money that way. It is totally doable with wealthy affiliate. Plus you don’t have to try to sell things to family and friends, you can just make helpful websites which generate revenue for you in a more passive way. Great article, I look forward to reading your next one. Have a good day.

    • Thank you for your wonderful feedback and comment!

If I am going to invest my time in something, it needs to be something where I already know people that are truly making the kind of money that I desire to make.

I always look to find a mentor who is making money and in a position that is my ideal position.  That gives me a goal to shoot for.

I do think that Beachbody has some cool products but I just so not recommend any MLMs.  Not any of them.  🙂

I do recommend learning to build profit-ready websites and making money through Affiliate Marketing.

I do this so I know that it works!
